Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are working really hard at shutting down all rumours that they are beefing each other. And what’s the best way to do this if not collaborate with your alleged rival?

Posting on their Instagram today, top radio station Power 105.1 revealed that the two female acts have collaborated on a song with rap group Migos, adding that the rap group previewed the song at a show held last night at the Barclays Center in New York.

“@migos announce at #PowerhouseNYC that @iamcardib and @nickiminaj are going to be on #culture2and played part of their song together,” the station said.

This heartwarming update comes barely three weeks after Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree Samuels claimed that the Pinkprint rapper feels threatened by Cardi Bi’s success.

Safaree made this allegation in an interview with DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden. Asked if Nicki is “sweating” over Cardi’s success, especially with the younger rapper breaking a 19-year record to become the first female leading the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, Safaree said, “100 percent.”

And asked why he thought so, he added, “Because I know how she is.”

Only days before that interview, Nicki Minaj took to her Twitter to congratulate Cardi on the record she broke, but Safaree dismisses that as optics, and his reason being that he knows Nicki well. “If you know somebody, you don’t even have to second guess or wonder,” he said.

His comments stirred major reactions on social media, with many people criticising him for often dragging Nicki’s name through the mud. Their history is well known. Safaree is still bitter that Nicki moved on after their relationship failed.

Well, Nicki Minaj has proved them wrong; she has been leading the female hip hop scene consecutively for 10 years and now is giving the upcoming star Cardi B all the props she needs. Just like Beyonce is doing.
