Other social media platforms join Facebook and Twitter to either ban or restrict US President Trump’s account

Twitter joined Facebook on Friday to permanently suspend outgoing US President Donald Trump’s account.

Sharing via their blog, Twitter said it was  permanently suspending the President’s personal account @realdonaldtrump on Friday, due to “the risk of further incitement of violence”.


Other social media sites such as TikTok, Snapchat, Google, YouTube and a host of others have joined the list of platforms that have either restricted or suspended President Donald Trump’s account.
